ACC Guidelines

It is the responsibility of homeowners to ensure their property meets the standards identified in the SVE RCC&Rs and the ACC Guidelines. Homeowners are expected to maintain their property and landscape with a reasonable high standard of care (in both front and back yard) by providing a neat, clean, trimmed and attractive appearance year-round.
The Sunland Village East Architectural Control Committee (ACC) consists of community volunteers appointed by the Board of Directors of the Homeowners Association (HOA) and is governed through the bylaws and RCC&Rs of the SVE HOA.  The primary purpose of ACC is to guide residents in the request for updates and modification to the outside of their home and property.  Members of the ACC also investigate resident concerns and complaints.
Please read the ACC Guidelines and complete an ACC Change Request form prior to beginning an exterior project on your home.  All exterior changes to a home must be approved by the SVE HOA (Sunland Village East Homeowners Association) Architectural Committee to ensure compliance with the guidelines established by the community.
Samples of approved exterior paint and trim colors are available through the Dunn and Edwards website.  Books containing samples of the approved colors are also available for checkout from the SVE Office.  Colors that are similar with a very slight variation from the approved colors may be approved.   Proper selection and use of the two colors (exterior & trim) should ensure visual compatibility within the community. Trim color may not be used as a dominant color.
