Sunland Village East is a large, prestigious, community
located in the beautiful East Valley area of Mesa. The view of
the Superstition Mountains at sunrise is only the beginning of
the many qualities that the area enjoys. With the chain of the
five Salt River lakes approximately 20 miles to the east, the
area is boundless with recreational opportunities including Boyce
Thompson Arboretum State Park, Canyon and Saguaro Lakes and Usery
Recreational Area. For those who's taste includes indoor activities,
there are events year round in the area such as the new Mesa Arts Center, Gammage Auditorium
and Chandler Museum of the Arts. With a population of over 4000
active adults, Sunland Village East offers a friendly hometown
feeling - close enough to the city for convenience but far enough
away for tranquility.
The community, with 2435 homes (single family, garden and
golf condos) was established in 1984 by the Farnsworth Homes Corporation.
Control was turned over to Sunland Village East Association, Inc
in 1988.
Every homeowner is automatically a member of Sunland Village East.
Annual Homeowner Fees are used for financing the operation and
maintenance for the Association. Sunland Village East maintains
an Asset Reserve Fund from annual homeowner fees. The fund provides
money for replacing and refurbishing capital assets owned by the
Association.
