Library
The Village Library at SVE
The Library is probably the "most used" room in Sunland Village East. It contains all sorts of reading materials, jigsaw puzzles and Audio and Video Tapes. It operates on the "honor system" since all of the materials there are donated. When you find a book that "tickles" your interest, you are welcome to take it home with you. When you finish reading it, you bring it back and select another.
The Library is organized according to the type of reading materials. There are books considered to be fiction and also nonfiction. There are paperbacks as well as hardbacks. There are Westerns, books in a series, Cookbooks, books about hobbies and many travel books. There are many volunteers who keep the books shelved when they are returned.
The Library is a very "User-friendly" place, even offering a place for you to sit and chat, or to work on the current puzzle. We hope that you will stop by and enjoy this wonderful room in our Village.
