Genealogy Club
The Genealogy club meets on
the first and third Wednesday of every month in the Mesa Verde Room at
9:30 AM.
Often, in lieu of a meeting
in the Mesa Verde Room, the Club meets in the Mesa Verde Room parking lot
at 8:45 AM to carpool to the Family History Center or the Arizona State
Archives at 9 AM.
Frequently, knowledgeable
speakers make presentations and conduct workshops at the Club’s meetings.
The Club maintains a list
of surnames that are being researched by its members with submitter’s
names and contact information. The list offers an opportunity to make
connections. The list is passed around at all meetings. Backup index
cards showing brief pedigrees are available for review during the
meetings, also.
A donation of $1 per meeting
attended is requested to defray the Club’s expenses, including speaker
honorariums and purchase of equipment and reference materials.
