SVE
has an outstanding tennis club whose mission is to provide its members with fun, fitness and
friendship through tennis. The Tennis Club has an excellent program, providing coaching and lessons
at all levels, opportunities for league and non-league play, social events and a lot more. Just as
the name implies, the focus of the Tennis Club is on the activity of playing tennis. This activity
includes the various tennis tournaments, league play, practice sessions, scheduled lessons and fun
games. But in addition to the tennis activities, there are a number of social events and fund
raising projects. This combination of activities makes this such a great tennis club. Playing tennis
is fun and so is the personal reward found in volunteering at the various events and activities. New
members are assigned to a level to match their skill. You only compete with players at your own
level and ability. The Club offers free lessons for beginners and we have loaner tennis rackets if
you need one. Over half of our members never played tennis before they joined the Club. Membership
is only $35 per year and is one of the best values around. Come on down to the courts and see for
yourself or talk to one of our ambassadors below. You’ll be glad you did.
